The freshman RHP picked up his first career win on Tuesday night
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Freshman RHP Lane Flamm picked up his first career win on Tuesday night, leading the Musketeers to a 5-4 win over No. 8 Louisville in 10 innings. Xavier improved to 2-5 on the year, while the Cardinals dropped to 5-3.

• Junior Conor Grammes led the Musketeers at the plate, going 2-for-5 with one run and and an RBI. He now has four multi-hit games this season.
• Graduate student Jake Shepski was also 2-for-5 from the plate with one run. Senior Chris Givin was 1-for-4 with a team-high two runs.
• Freshman Jack Housinger extended his hit streak to three games as the third baseman went 1-for-4 with an RBI. He has posted an RBI in three straight games.
• Senior Matt Warkentin was 1-for-3 from the plate. The first baseman has posted a .533 batting average (8-for-15) in his last four games after staring the year 0-for-10 in a three-game series at No. 7 North Carolina.
• Both teams had eight hits in the contest and did not commit any errors. Louisville left five more runners on base (11-6) than Xavier.

• With runners on second and third with only one out in the bottom of the 10th inning, Flamm retired the final two Louisville batters to seal the win. He got Henry Davis to fly out to right field before striking out Justin Lavey to end the game.
• Senior Matt Kent made his first start of the season, throwing one strikeout with two walks in 4.1 innings of work. He allowed three earned runs.
