Jaramillo Places Eighth Individually as Men's Golf Finishes 10th at Pinehurst Intercollegiate

PINEHURST, N.C. - Xavier men's golf finished out the third and final round of the Pinehurst Intercollegiate in 10th on Sunday with a score of 907 (+55). The Musketeers carded a 300 (+16) over the final 18 holes, the team's best round of the weekend.

Martin Jaramillo carded his second 1-over round (72) of the weekend to finish tied for eighth overall with a total of 220 (+7). Jaramillo was fourth in par-5 scoring at 4.89 (-1) and led XU with 10 birdies.

Garrett Wood carded a 73 (+2) in the last round to move up another 13 places and finish tied for 28th with a score of 226 (+13). Wood was fourth in par-3 scoring at 2.83 (-2) and added seven birdies and 28 pars through the 54-hole outing.

Imaad Qureshi and Nick Frey both finished with a total of 231 (+18) and tied for 50th overall. Qureshi led Xavier with 37 pars. Frey had 31 pars and four birdies over the weekend.

Michael Prebles shot a 254 (+41) and Hunter Roberts carded a 237 (+24), respectively.

Davidson won the tournament with a total of 859 (+7).
