BOULDER CITY, Nev. - Xavier women's golf won back-to-back tournaments with a victory on Tuesday at the Jackrabbit Invitational. They beat out South Dakota State by one stroke after being tied for first with the Jackrabbits heading into the final 18 holes.

The Musketeers were tied for first in par-3 scoring at 3.22 and second in par-4 scoring at 4.52. XU recorded 143 pars and 23 birdies.

Five XU golfers placed in the top 10 individually, including: Mikayla Fitzpatrick (3), Mikayla Smith (T4), Andie Shukow (T4), Lyndsey Hunnell (T8), and Ke'Asha Phillips (individual - T8).

Mikayla Fitzpatrick carded a 77 (+5) in the third round and a 229 (+13) for the 54-hole outing. She ranked second in par-4 scoring at 4.33 (+10) and recorded 31 pars and six birdies through the tournament.

Both Mikayla Smith and Andie Shukow finished with totals of 230 (+14). Smith tied for second in par-3 scoring at 3.00 and recorded 32 pars, five birdies and XU's only eagle. Shukow led the tournament field in par-3 scoring at 2.92 and total pars with 36 and tied for second in par-4 scoring at 4.33.

Lyndsey Hunnell finished with a score of 234 (+20) and tied for eighth overall. She led XU with eight birdies and added 25 pars.

Ke'Asha Phillips, one of four individuals competing for Xavier, placed tied for eighth overall with a total of 234 (+20). Phillips carded 25 pars and seven birdies through the tournament.

TEAM RESULTS

Xavier won their second-straight tournament with a total of 923 (+59) after going into the final round tied with South Dakota State.
