Xavier collected the doubles point with a 6-1 win in the No. 3 spot for Natalie Moyer and Zoe Manion. Then, in the No. 1 spot, Ahmeir Kyle and Emily Thomas collected a 6-1 victory, while Hunter Roper and Rachael Reichenbach finished off with a 6-3 win in the No. 2 spot.Â
Xavier finished the match with six two-set victories, beginning with a 6-2, 6-0 win for Hunter Roper in the No. 2 spot. Natalie Moyer followed up the effort with a 6-2, 6-2 win in the No. 5 spot. Teammate Kaitlin Ruether continued the Musketeers' hot streak with another 6-2, 6-2 win in the No. 3 spot. This point secured the victory for Xavier, extending their lead to 4-0
Emily Thomas then defeated Risa Takenaka 6-3, 6-2 in the No. 1 spot, giving Xavier a 5-0 lead. Lauren Fitz-Randolph picked up a 6-1, 6-0 win and teammate Anna Letto closed out the match with a 6-1, 6-2 win, completing the sweep for the Musketeers.Â
