Women's Tennis Earns No. 1 Seed in BIG EAST Championships, Announces Tournament Matchup

CINCINNATI-Â Xavier women's tennis has announced their opening matchup for the 2019 BIG EAST Women's Tennis Championship set to take place April 18-21 in Cayce, South Carolina.Â
The Musketeers have been awarded a number one seed in the tournament and will have a first round bye. Xavier will take on the winner of the Georgetown/Butler matchup, set to begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. Xavier will play at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, April 19.Â
This marks the first time since joining the BIG EAST that the Musketeers have earned the No. 1 seed.
