Kelly Ruth Introduced into Elyria HS Hall of Fame

ELYRIA, Ohio - Former Xavier volleyball standout Kelly (Mahon) Ruth was recently introduced into the Elyria High School Hall of Fame on May 4. She played for the Musketeers from 2006-09.
The two-time All-Atlantic 10 performer led the Musketeers to the 2007 NCAA Tournament. She is one of 12 Xavier players in the 1,000 kills-1,000 digs club.Â
She also ranks eighth in career points (1429.0) at Xavier and 10th in attack attempts (3,462). Ruth was also named the Atlantic-10 Student-Athlete of the Year in 2009 and was a two-time CoSIDA All-District honoree.
In her final two years at Elyria HS, Ruth led the team to a 48-6 record with back-to-back district titles and conference championships. She finished her career ranked 19th in OHSAA history for kills (939).
