Volleyball to Host Cincinnati at the Cintas Center

The annual crosstown matchup between the Musketeers and Bearcats will be held at the Cintas Center on September 18.
CINCINNATI - The Xavier volleyball team will host the annual crosstown rivalry match against Cincinnati at the Cintas Center on Friday, September 18.
The Musketeers and Bearcats have faced off in consecutive seasons since 2017 and 43 times in total. UC holds a 29-14 advantage in those contests.
XU is coming off a record-breaking season in 2025, posting a 26-5 record for the most wins since 1993. The Musketeers also made their third all-time NCAA Tournament appearance and first since 2007.
Head coach Christy Pfeffenberger, assistant coach Lainey Stephenson and graduate assistant Zoe Conway earned BIG EAST Coaching Staff of the Year honors in 2025.
Xavier returns two All-BIG EAST honorees in middle blocker McKinley Boehm and setter Macy Hatkevich. Boehm was named to the All-BIG EAST Freshman Team, while Hatkevich earned All-BIG EAST Team honors.
First serve in the crosstown matchup is set for 6:00 p.m. There will be post-game autographs with players and a full promotional schedule wil be announced later this summer.Â
