The Musketeers will play 13 matches at Cintas Center
CINCINNATIÂ - Xavier volleyball announced its 2026 schedule on Wednesday afternoon. The Musketeers will play 13 matches at Cintas Center, including the annual crosstown matchup vs rival Cincinnati.
Xavier will also play five teams that competed in the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
Ticket information and a promotions schedule will be released in July/August.

NOTABLES
- Xavier opens the season vs Pitt in the AVCA First Serve event on Aug. 24.
- The Musketeers open the season with six straight road matches. Following the season opener vs Pitt, Xavier competes at the Notre Dame Tournament on Aug. 29-30 and the Georgia Tech Tournament on Sept. 4-6.
- Xavier will play five teams that competed in the 2025 NCAA Tournament: Campbell, Creighton, Georgia Tech, Marquette and Pitt.
- The Musketeers play teams from seven different conferences in non-league play: ACC (3), A-10 (1), ASUN (1), Big 12 (1), CAA (1), MAC (3) and OVC (1).
- Xavier plays the first of 13 home matches on Sept. 11 vs Saint Louis. The Musketeers will host the Xavier Tournament on Sept. 11-12 at Cintas Center. The tournament features six matches over two days with the Musketeers competing against Austin Peay, Bowling Green and Saint Louis.
- Xavier plays host to crosstown rival Cincinnati on Friday, Sept. 18 at Cintas Center. First serve is set for 6 p.m.
- BIG EAST action begins on Sept. 25 vs Georgetown at Cintas Center. The Musketeers play a 16-match conference schedule that concludes on Nov. 14 at Providence.
- Creighton will play host to the BIG EAST Tournament on Nov. 20-21 in Omaha, Neb.

NOTABLES
- Assistant coach Lainey Stephenson was named to the 2026 class of AVCA Thirty Under 30 College honorees on March 11.
- The Musketeers posted a 26-5 record last season, the most wins in a season since 1993. Xavier finished second the conference standings with a 14-2 record, the program's best record in BIG EAST play.
- Xavier competed in the NCAA Tournament in 2025, the program's third appearance in school history and first since 2007.
- Head coach Christy Pfeffenberger, assistant coach Lainey Stephenson and graduate assistant Zoe Conway earned BIG EAST Coaching Staff of the Year honors in 2025.
- Xavier returns two All-BIG EAST honorees in middle blocker McKinley Boehm and setter Macy Hatkevich. Boehm was named to the All-BIG EAST Freshman Team, while Hatkevich earned All-BIG EAST Team honors.
- The Musketeers signed four newcomers in the fall of 2025: Addison Haberthy, Sadie Kroeger, Gabby Semona and Cami Sher.
