Women's Soccer Picks Up Fourth-Straight Shutout in 0-0 Double OT Draw at Cincinnati

Olivia Jenkins collects a season-high four saves in her second shutout of the season
CINCINNATIÂ -Â Â Xavier women's soccer collected its fifth shutout of the season, playing Cincinnati to a 0-0 draw through double overtime on Sunday at Nippert Stadium.Â
Xavier's offense had the advantage early, creating four shots in the first period, including a pair on frame, but the Bearcats countered in the second half, out-shooting the Musketeers, 5-4. In overtime, Xavier held a 3-1 advantage on shots, including a 2-0 advantage on shots in the second overtime, and earned five corner kicks but neither team was able to find the back of the net, finishing the game in a scoreless draw.
Xavier's defense posted it's fourth-straight shutout, now playing 380 consecutive minutes without allowing a goal. Olivia Jenkins played the full time in goal in her second complete shutout of the season, and Grace Bahr and Hayley Jakovich played the full 110 minute on Xavier's backline to help Xavier move to 5-1-2.
