Musketeers collect 22 event wins over the Knights
LOUISVILLE - Xavier swimming opened up the spring semester with a dominating performance over Bellarmine, winning 22 of 28 events to sweep both the men's and women's side.
The Musketeers return to action on Friday, January 17 at Cincinnati at 5:00 p.m.

- Xavier's women took four of the top five spots in the 400 medley relay to lead off the meet, led by Ali Fort, Alison Herman, Taylor Hogan and Emily Conners' time of 3:53.89.
- Clare Bosse led a trio of Musketeers in the top four of the 200 free, winning with a time of 1:56.71.
- Xavier took the top four spots in the 100 back, led by Ali Fort's time of 58.41.
- Taylor Hogan swept the butterfly events led three Musketeers in the top three spots of the 100 fly and 200 fly.
- Emily Conners swept the freestyle sprints with times of 23.97 in the 50 free and 52.02 in the 100 free. Xavier took the top five spots in the 100 free.
- Ali Fort's time of 2:08.35 led the 200 back, with Xavier taking the top four spots.
- Kelly Harris led three Musketeers in the top three of the 200 breast with a time of 2:26.65.
- Emma Kauffeld led Xavier in two events, taking first in the 1000 free and second in the 500 free.
- Alison Herman led five Musketeers in the top five spots of the 200 IM with a time of 2:12.56.
- Xavier closed out the event by taking the top three spots in the 200 free relay, led by Emily Conners, Erin Merke, Maureen Cummins and Emily Saugstad.
- Xavier's women won by a final score of 195-61.

- Andrew Martin collected a pair of event wins in the freestyle distance events, taking first in the 1000 free and 500 free.
- Ben Quon led four Musketeers in the top four of the 200 free with a time of 1:42.44. Quon also collected an event win in the 200 back with a time of 1:53.89.

- Roark Lundal led Xavier in the 100 fly with a time of 52.70 to place second.
- Alex Sironen, Christian Thomas, Roark Lundal and Ethan Wing closed out the meet with a win in the 200 free relay.
- Xavier's men won by a final score of 183-79.
