Â
"After a long winter break, I'm really excited to get back to competing. With the exception of a few, most of our athletes had favorable conditions to train in while they were home over break which should lead to a good start for us at UK. We had our first practice session as a team today and there were a number of girls and guys that looked really fit and ready to run fast. Although we're focused on performances in March and even further into the spring season, this meet should be a good test to see where they're at."
Â
• Xavier continues its indoor track and field season at the Can Am Classic on Saturday, Jan. 25. The meet is being hosted by Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Mich.
