CINCINNATI --- The Xavier University Musketeers, 6-0, host the University of Oklahoma Sooners, 2-0 overall and 1-0 in the Big 12 Conference, on Wednesday at 8 p.m. at Cintas Center. The game is part of the annual BIG EAST-Big 12 Challenge.

This is Xavier's final non-conference game of the season. XU opens BIG EAST play on Saturday at Providence.

• Xavier is opening the 2020-21 season with 12 games in 29 days. This is Xavier's final non-conference game before opening BIG EAST play on Saturday at Providence.
• Xavier added three players to the active roster before the UC game: junior Adam Kunkel (NCAA waiver) and freshmen Colby Jones and C.J. Wilcher (quarantine).
• Xavier has four players averaging in double figures in scoring: sophomores Zach Freemantle (17.2 ppg.) and KyKy Tandy (12.7 ppg.) and seniors Paul Scruggs (13.7 ppg.) and Nate Johnson (11.5 ppg.).
• Xavier sophomore Zach Freemantle was named BIG EAST Conference Player of the Week after averaging 18.0 ppg. and 9.3 rpg. in three XU wins this past week.
• Xavier's Zach Freemantle leads the team in scoring at 17.2 ppg. (seventh in the BIG EAST) and is second in rebounding at 8.5 rpg. (fifth in the BIG EAST).
• Xavier senior Paul Scruggs, MVP of the Xavier Invitational, leads the team and is tied for the BIG EAST lead in assists at 7.0 apg. He is second in scoring at 13.7 ppg.
• Xavier's Paul Scruggs moved up four spots to 53rd on XU's all-time scoring list with 1,035 career points after his game-high 20-point effort in the win at UC.
• Xavier senior Jason Carter, who is second in the BIG EAST in rebounding at 9.2 rpg., has grabbed double-figure rebound totals in four of the last five games.
• Xavier senior Nate Johnson, who has scored in double figures in three straight games, is third in the BIG EAST in 3-point field goals at 2.5 per game.
• Xavier freshman Dwon Odom, who started the first six games, is second on the team in assists at 4.5 apg. (fifth in the BIG EAST).
