"We're excited to be at SPIRE for the BIG EAST Indoor Track Championship this weekend. Having the championship in Ohio means we will have a lot of parents and alumni come out to support the team at the meet. It should be a great competitive environment for our athletes."
Â
"On the women's side, we have several athletes that should contend for a win and All-BIG EAST honors in their events. Anna has a chance to win both the 5K and the 3K, while Hannah has a shot to win the 800-meter run. Courtney Klatt also has a good chance at scoring high in both of her open events and earning All-BIG EAST honors. On the men's side, we're trying to get three athletes into finals and run a number of personal-best marks in events like the 5K, 400-meter dash and mile. It should be a very exciting meet on both sides."
Â
• The NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships are slated for March 13-15 in Albuquerque, N.M.
