
Women's Golf Heads to Boca Raton in Full Force to Open Spring

BOCA RATON, FLA. - Xavier women's golf looks ahead to a fairer climate as it travels to southern Florida to open its spring schedule. The Musketeers head to Junior Andie Shukow's hometown for the FAU-hosted tournament.Â
The Musketeers rank second as a team in the BIG EAST after the fall season behind Seton Hall. XU will get a look at conference rivals Seton Hall and Butler while in Florida.
Andie Shukow led the charge for XU during the fall, ranking fourth in the BIG EAST individually with an average of 74.58. Shukow has two top-10 finishes this season at the Redbird Invitational and the Yale Intercollegiate.
Mikayla Fitzpatrick ranks seventh in conference following the fall with a scoring average of 75.25 and one top-five finish (Redbird Invitational).
Xavier boasts four more golfers ranked in the top-20 individually in the BIG EAST as well: Kayla Benge (13), Amy Kucera (16), Morgan Tinsley (17), and Ke'Asha Phillips (20).
