Xavier opens play against DePaul on Wednesday evening
NEW YORK - The field for the 2020 BIG EAST Tournament Presented by Jeep is locked in, with Xavier earning the No. 7 seed. The Musketeers will open play on Wednesday evening, facing off with the No. 10 seed DePaul at 9:30 PM on FS1.
The Musketeers (19-12, 8-10 BIG EAST) are 2-0 against the Blue Demons (15-16, 3-15 BIG EAST) this season, taking the 67-59 win in Chicago on February 4, and winning 78-67 at Cintas Center on February 24.
The Musketeers have a 8-6 record all-time in BIG EAST Tournament action, including a 1-0 mark against DePaul, and have advanced to at least the BIG EAST Semifinals in each of Xavier's six seasons in the BIG EAST Conference.
