Musketeers are back in action on Sunday at Butler Invite

CINCINNATI – Xavier swimming opened a two-meet weekend on Friday afternoon, traveling across town to face the Cincinnati Bearcats at the Keating Natatorium. Xavier returns to the pool on Sunday when the Musketeers travel to Fishers, Ind., for the Butler Invite.

WOMEN'S NOTABLE

Kali Fischer, Lydia Schaeffer, Lorelei Gaertner and Clara Keiser led the Musketeers in the first race, placing fourth in the 200 medley with a time of 1:47.52.
Kali Fischer led the Musketeers in the backstroke events with times of 56.87 in the 100 and 2:04.03 in the 200.
Clara Keiser led Xavier in a pair of freestyle events, the 100 free (53.70) and 200 free (1:54.64).
Alison Herman led the Musketeers in a pair of events, the 100 breast (1:07.31) and 200 breast (2:27.94).
Taylor Hogan posted the top time by a Musketeer in the 100 fly (58.15) and the 200 IM (2:13.38).
Erin Ritz (1000 free), Emma Jury (200 fly), Lydia Schaeffer (50 free) and Emma Swabb (500 free) each led the Musketeers in an individual race.
Xavier closed out the meet with a time of 3:38.35 in the 400 free relay for Fischer, Kaiser, Ritz and Swabb.

MEN'S NOTABLE

Jon Bernard, Davis Klein, Joey Mullen and Christian Thomas led the Musketeer men off with a time of 1:31.04 I the 200 medley relay.
Jon Bernard led the Musketeers in three individual events, the 100 back (49.69) and the 200 back (1:48.39) as well as the 200 IM. (1:51.95)
Andrew Martin led Xavier in a pair of events, the 200 free (1:38.48) and the 500 free (4:31.42).
Davis Klein led the Musketeers in a pair of events with time of 58.89 in the 100 breast and 2:13.70 in the 200 breast.
Will Serad posted the top time by a Musketeer in the 1000 free, 9:48.07.
Alex Sironen had the best time by a Musketeer in the 50 free, 21.78.
Christian Thomas had the top time for Xavier in the 100 free at 46.21.
Joey Mullen's time of 52.31 led the Musketeers in the 100 fly.
Xavier closed out the event with a time of 3:05.43 in the 400 free relay for Martin, Thomas, Ethan Wing and Sironen.
