Sarah Naas Named Associate Director of Student-Athlete Academic Support Services

Naas joins the Musketeers after previously working at Louisiana Tech (2018-20)
CINCINNATI - Sarah Naas was named associate director of student-athlete academic support services on Monday afternoon. She previously served as assistant director for athletic academic services at Louisiana Tech from 2018-20.
"We are extremely excited to welcome Sarah to the SAASS team," said senior director of student-athlete academic support services Angela Wyss. "Her wealth of experience, knowledge and passion will serve our student-athletes well. Sarah will be a fantastic addition to round out our staff as she truly embodies the Xavier values and embraces the mission with pride."
At Louisiana Tech, Naas worked as the academic advisor for the football program. She also supervised graduate assistants, interns, student workers and tutors within the academic services department.
Prior to Louisiana Tech, Naas worked at Western Kentucky from 2014-18 in the student-athlete success center. She served as an intern/tutoring coordinator from 2014-16 before serving as a graduate assistant in the department from 2016-17.
In 2017, Naas was promoted to a full-time position at Western Kentucky. She served as the athletic academic coordinator from 2017-18, primarily working with the following teams: women's basketball, women's tennis, softball and football.
The Barlow, Ky., native earned bachelor's degrees in sports management and public relations from Western Kentucky in 2016. She also holds a master's degree in recreation and sport administration from Western Kentucky and is currently pursing a doctor of education degree in educational leadership.
