Men's Tennis Adds Five-Star Kyle Totorica

Comes to Xavier from Reagan High School in San Antonio, Texas
CINCINNATI - Xavier men's tennis added stand-out Kyle Totorica to the roster during the Fall 2021 signing period. Totorica, a five-star recruit, comes to Xavier from Reagan High School in San Antonio, Texas.
"We are excited to welcome Kyle to the Xavier tennis family," said head coach Doug Matthews. "Through the recruiting process, Kyle really stood out on and off the court. He is a tremendous competitor, a great person, and comes from a great family. He is the perfect fit for our program and will help us compete for BIG EAST Championships."
Totorica, who earned his five-star rating from Tennisrecruiting.net, has ranked as high as 35th in the nation in 2021. He is a four-year member of the varsity team at Reagan and has been a part of the four-time District and Bi-District champions (2018-2021) and the two-time team area champions.
As an individual, Totorica won the past two District and Regional Singles championships that were played (2019 and 2021), and earned spot in the UIL 6A State Tournament both years, finishing as a finalist in 2019 and placing third in 2021. Following each of the last two complete seasons, he was named the San Antonio Express News Player of the Year and earned a spot on the publication's All-Area team.
Prior to his career at Reagan, Tororica won the 2018 Texas Grand Slam and earned a top-five ranking in the state of Texas for his age group in multiple years.
In the classroom, Totorica has earned Academic All-District honors following each of the last two complete seasons (2019 and 2021).
