Four Musketeers Score Double Digit Kills in Loss to UCONN

STORRS, CT- Xavier took their first trip to Gampel Pavilion in Connecticut and had many notable performances to show for it. The Musketeers started strong, as they tend to do on the road, but fell to a score of 25-22, 25-21, 23-25, 18-25, 12-25.
Xavier is now 11-17 this season, and UConn improves to 21-9.
• Delaney Hogan shared the team-lead with 13 kills, and had a Xavier-best .333 hit percentage. She also had three blocks.
• Kelly Franxman also had 13 kills tonight, at a .263 hit percentage. She was able to add an ace and a solo block.
• Emma Grace was absolutely incredible, notching a double-double with 10 kills and 10 digs. She tied a Xavier season-high four aces, and added two blocks (one solo) to lead the team in points.
• Ellie Chaffee also had double digit kills, accumulating 10 for the Musketeers. She did it at a .250 clip, and added two blocks.
• Carrigan O'Reilly had 47 assists on the evening, and was just one dig shy of a double-double of her own. She also had four kills and four blocks (one solo).
• Three Musketeers had double digit digs. Ahead of Grace's 10 was Alyssa Overbeck's 14 and Stevie Wolf's 18.
• Xavier's last match of the season will be on Sunday at 2:00 pm ET at Butler.
