NEW YORK - Nia Clark was named the BIG EAST Player of the Week on Monday afternoon. She helped the Musketeers post a 1-1 record last week.
The guard averaged 21.5 points, 4.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game last week. She also hit 51.5 percent (17-for-33) of her shot attempts.
The Indianapolis, Ind., native had 17 points and three steals vs Miami (Ohio) on Nov. 17. She also had a career-high 26 points and five assists in the win over Valparaiso on Nov. 21.
Clark and the Musketeers return to action on Wednesday, Nov. 24 at Wright State. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. from the Nutter Center.
