Molly McLaughlin, Sonia Vargas Earn BIG EAST All-Tournament Team Honors

CINCINNATI - Following Xavier women's soccer's appearance in the BIG EAST Championship Semifinals, a pair of Musketeers, Sonia Vargas and Molly McLaughlin, both earned a spot on the 2021 BIG EAST All-Tournament Team.

In Xavier's BIG EAST Semifinal match against St. John's, McLaughlin played 89 minutes, leading the Musketeers with three shots, all on-frame. Sonia Vargas made the start in the match, playing 49 minutes for the No. 1 seeded Musketeers in the eventual 1-0 loss at Xavier's Corcoran Field.

Xavier awaits the NCAA Championship bracket for its next match-up, with the selection show set for Monday, Nov. 8 at 4:30 p.m., with the selections streamed live on NCAA.com.
