Women's Tennis Picks Up Fifth Win of the Season, Topping Bowling Green

CINCINNATIÂ - Xavier women's tennis picked up a second win for the weekend on Saturday, topping Bowling Green, 5-2, at Eastern Hills. The Musketeers move to 5-1 on the season.
Xavier is back in action next weekend, traveling to Lipscomb on Friday evening, then facing MTSU on Saturday afternoon.

Imani Graham and Anna Roggenburk picked up the first decision in doubles, a 6-1 win in the No. 3 spot, but wins over Kaitlin Ruether and Kat Lyman (6-2) in the No. 2 spot and Ahmeir Kyle and Emily Thomas (7-5) in the No. 1 spot sealed the doubles point for the Falcons.
Anna Roggenburk took a 6-4, 6-0 win in the No. 3 singles spot to pull the Musketeers even at 1-1, the Xavier took the 2-1 lead on a 6-1, 6-4 win for Imani Graham in the No. 4 spot
Ahmeir Kyle's 6-4, 6-4 win in the No. 1 spot put Xavier ahead, 3-1, and Emily Thomas sealed the win with a fourth point for the Musketeers, taking the No. 5 spot 6-3, 6-3.
Kat Lyman picked up the final point for the Musketeers with a win in the No. 2 spot, 6-2, 4-6, 6-1. The final point, in the No. 6 spot, came down to a third set, with Kaitlin Ruether falling 5-7, 7-5, 15-13, to set the final score at 5-2.
