CINCINNATI - Sophomore MaryAnn O'Toole paced four Musketeers in double-figure kills on Friday night, leading the Musketeers to a four-set win (25-16, 19-25, 25-18, 25-23) over Butler. The outside hitter recorded her sixth double-double of the season with 14 kills and 15 digs.

Xavier improved to 6-5 (2-1 BIG EAST), while the Bulldogs dropped to 4-9 (1-6 BIG EAST).

NOTABLES

• MaryAnn O'Toole posted a team-high 14 kills to go along with 15 digs, her sixth double-double of the season. The outside hitter added a .314 hitting percentage and two assists.

• Moriah Hopkins and Delaney Hogan both added 12 kills. Hogan also posted a match-high .522 hitting percentage.

• Kelly Franxman rounded out the Musketeers in double-figure kills with 10. She added 19 digs for her fourth double-double of the season.

• Alyssa Overbeck led four Musketeers with 10 or more digs. The sophomore libero had 21 digs on the night. She added a team-high three aces.

• Carrigan O'Reilly had a match-high 54 assists to go along with 19 digs, her fifth double-double of the season. The setter added three blocks (two assist, one solo) and five kills.

• Butler held a 5-4 advantage in total team blocks. Xavier had four more aces (7-3) than the Bulldogs and posted a higher hitting percentage (.266 vs .227).

• Xavier and Butler wrap up the weekend series on Saturday, March 20 at 5:30 p.m. The Musketeers will hold a senior day ceremony for Lauren Hanlon following the conclusion of the match.
