Falkenbach brings nearly five years of full-time compliance experience to Xavier
CINCINNATI - Xavier Director of Compliance Leslie Fields has announced the addition of Grace Falkenbach as the department's assistant director for compliance.
"Grace is a rising star in athletics compliance and we're fortunate to have her joining our team," said Fields. "She has outstanding practical experience in compliance; but what really sets Grace apart are her abilities to create relationships with student-athletes and coaches, and her willingness to think creatively. She'll be a great addition to the athletics staff."
Falkenbach brings nearly five years of full-time experience to Xavier, most recently serving as associate director of compliance at Louisville (2019-21). She was responsible for overseeing compliance for seven teams, in addition to assisting with the monitoring and recruiting efforts for all 23 sports.
Falkenbach also managed all facets of all camps and clinic compliance and worked with human resources to ensure all undergraduate paraprofessional staff and part-time employees adhered to all NCAA and Louisville compliance policies.
Prior to Louisville, she was the director of compliance at Ohio from 2017-19. Falkenbach was responsible for all facets of compliance and monitoring for all 16 teams and supervised two graduate assistants.
She also worked at the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) from 2016-17 and at Indiana from 2014-16.
The Indianapolis, Ind., native earned a juris doctor from Indiana in 2016 and holds a bachelor's degree in music business from Belmont ('13).
