Women’s Basketball Adds Grayson Bright to Support Staff

Bright played collegiately at Louisiana Tech (2018-20) and Texas Tech (2016-18)
CINCINNATI - Xavier women's basketball head coach Melanie Moore has announced the addition of Grayson Bright to her support staff. She will serve as a graduate assistant for the program.
"We are really excited to add Grayson to our staff," said Moore. "She was a pro and played at an elite level so our players will be benefit from her knowledge. She is an extremely hard worker and will help in many areas of our program."
Bright will assist in the day-to-day operations of the program. She will also assist with film exchange, scouting reports and summer camps.
Bright played and started in 60 games at Louisiana Tech (2018-20), averaging 8.5 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. She added 41 steals, 38 blocks and 98 assists.
Prior to Louisiana Tech, she played two seasons at Texas Tech (2016-18) – appearing in 58 games. She averaged 2.6 points and 2.0 rebounds per game with the Red Raiders.
Grayson played professionally in Guimares, Portugal with Vitoría sport clube in 2020-21.
The Fort Worth, Texas, native earned a bachelor's degree in sociology from Louisiana Tech in the spring of 2020.
