No. 23 Women's Soccer Moves to 6-0 with Win Over Ball State

CINCINNATI -Â Â No. 23 Xavier women's soccer extended its season-starting winning streak, topping Ball State, 1-0, at Corcoran Field to move to 6-0 on the season. The mark is the best start to the season since going 8-0 to start the 1990 season.
Xavier took the lead midway through the first half on a goal from Emma Marcus from Chloe Netzel. The Musketeers limited Ball State to just one shot on-goal overall, holding a 14-9 advantage on shots overall, and picked up the third shutout of the season.Â
The Musketeers remain at home for a second-straight match, hosting Loyola Chicago on Sunday, Sept.12, at 1:00 p.m., as part of a doubleheader with Xavier's men, who host Northwestern at 6:00 p.m.
