NEW YORK - Kaleigh Addie was named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week on Monday afternoon. The guard helped the Musketeers post a 3-0 record to open the 2022-23 season.
Addie ranked second on the team in scoring last week, averaging 11.3 points per game. She came off the bench in all three games last week, averaging 21.4 minutes per game. Addie added nine assists, eight rebounds and five steals.
The Atlanta, Ga., native, posted a .478 field-goal percentage (11-for-23) with two 3-pointers. She was also 10-for-14 from the foul line. Addie scored a team-high 21 points on 7-for-11 shooting in her Musketeer debut in the team's season opener at Miami (Ohio).
