Volleyball Drops Five Set Match to DePaul

Xavier fell to DePaul in the final match of the 2022 regular season
CHICAGO, Ill. - Xavier volleyball fell to DePaul (26-28, 25-11, 20-25, 25-20, 11-15) in a hard-fought five-set match to close out the 2022 regular season.
The Musketeers fall to 18-10 (11-7 BIG EAST) while the Blue Demons improve to 10-20 (6-12 BIG EAST).
• Delaney Hogan led the squad in hitting percentage (.609) with 15 kills and one error on 23 attempts. Hogan also led the squad on defense with six block assists and two block solos.
• Brooklyn Cink also managed 15 kills in the match . The senior outside hitter tallied six block assists, one block solo, and seven digs.
• Angel Robinson, the graduate middle blocker hit for .316 in the match with seven kills, one error, and 19 total attempts along with posting three block assists.
• Anna Taylor, the sophomore outside hitter, posted 10 kills in the match and added three block assists to her stat line for the night.
• Hogan and Robinson were the only members of the squad to put up block solos. Hogan, Cink, O'Reilly, Taylor, and Robinson each posted multiple block assists.
• Carrigan O'Reilly added an additional 49 assists to bring her career total to 3,211. The senior setter tallied eight kills, five digs, three service aces, and two block assists.
• Three members of the squad put up service aces against the Blue Demons. O'Reilly and junior defensive specialist Stevie Wolf both put up three while sophomore setter Logan Flaugh tossed up one.
• Lucia Corsaro, the sophomore libero, led the Musketeers with 21 digs and was the only member of the squad to reach double-digits.
• Wolf posted a kill in the second set to bring her season total to eight.
• Xavier will travel to Omaha, Neb. on Tuesday for the second time this season, for the BIG EAST Tournament.
