• Xavier is coming off an 83-63 road loss at St. John's on Wednesday night. Ayanna Townsend posted a team-high 15 points on 5-for-9 shooting, her 18th career game in double figures. She added a team-high eight rebounds.
• New York natives Kae Satterfield and Mackayla Scarlett rounded out the Xavier double-figure scorers with 10 points each. Satterfield added three rebounds, while Scarlett recorded a game-high three steals.
• Shelby Calhoun added eight points and five rebounds, while Shaila Beeler chipped in seven points and a game-high seven assists.
• St. John's won the battle on the glass, 48-34. Xavier held a 16-7 advantage in points off of turnovers and scored three more second-chance points (12-9).
