Diego Nava Named BIG EAST Singles Player of the Week

Nava, ranked No. 52 in the ITA Singles Rankings, still undefeated in singles for the season
NEW YORK - After another 2-0 week in the No. 1 singles spot, graduate student Diego Nava was named the BIG EAST Men's Singles Player of the Week by the league on Thursday.
Nava, who remained at No. 52 in the most recent ITA singles rankings, improved to 9-0 on the season after a pair of victories this past week. The graduate earned a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Eastern Illinois on Friday, then picked up a 6-3, 6-4 win over Creighton's Casey Ross on Monday in No. 1 singles.
This is Nava's second Singles Player of the Week honor of the season.Â
