Men's Tennis Wraps up Fall at BSU Invite

MUNCIE, Ind. - Xavier men's tennis wrapped up the Fall Tournament schedule over the weekend, taking on players from Dayton, IU Indy, Bellarmine, Butler and Ball State during the three-day tournament.

Alex Kotarski picked up a pair of singles wins, taking a 6-3, 6-1 win over Jai Dutta of Ball State, and a 6-3, 6-3 win over Dayton's Sturle Skigelstrand.

Andrew Spurck also collected two singles wins, topping Brandon Pham of Ball State, 6-3, 6-0, as well as BSU's Andrew Hayward, 6-4, 1-6, 10-8.

The duo of Kotarski and Spurck also combined for a pair of doubles wins, topping Brandon Pham and Jai Dutta of BSU, 6-3, and Ball State's Jacks Lancaster and Andrew Hayward, 6-3.

Bode Campbell had three wins for the weekend, picking up a pair of singles wins, against Dayton's Kaiaitz Mendibe, 2-6, 6-2, 10-1, and Ball State's Broc Fletcher, 6-1, 6-3. Campbell also had a doubles win, partnered with Cameron Kryscio of IU Indy, the pair beat Broc Fletcher and Zackary Kimelamn of Ball State, 6-1

Kyle Totorica and Lukas Grossman also combined for a doubles win, topping Ball State's Brandon Pham and Jai Dutta, 7-6 (4).
