O'Reilly, Musketeers Top Bearcats in Five Sets on Saturday Night

The senior setter posted her fifth career triple-double with 57 assists, 16 digs and 11 kills
CINCINNATI - Senior Carrigan O'Reilly posted her fifth career triple-double on Saturday night, leading the Xavier volleyball team to a five-set win (25-21, 20-25, 21-25, 37-35, 15-7) over crosstown rival Cincinnati.
The Musketeers move to 7-3 on the year, while the Bearcats drop to 2-8. Xavier has now won two of the last three meetings vs Cincinnati.
• Carrigan O'Reilly posted 57 assists, 16 digs and 11 kills for her fifth career triple double. She has recorded a triple-double in back-to-back matches and has increased her season total of triple-doubles to three.
• Brooklyn Cink led five Musketeers with 10 or more kills as the outside hitter posted a team-high 18 kills. She added a .441 hitting percentage to go along with five blocks and seven digs.
• Delaney Hogan added 14 kills and five blocks. The middle blocker also posted a .393 hitting percentage.
• MaryAnn O'Toole chipped in 13 kills, while Anna Taylor finished with 10 kills. Taylor added a .350 hitting percentage.
• Lucia Corsaro was one of four Musketeers with 10 or more digs as the libero posted a match-high 18 digs. She added two aces.
• Stevie Wolfe chipped in 12 digs, while Alyssa Overbeck recorded 10 digs.
• Xavier had two more aces (6-4) than the Bearcats and had three more total team blocks (10-7). The Musketeers have posted 10 or more total team blocks twice this season.
• Xavier finished the match with a .337 hitting percentage, the team's best mark on the season.
• Xavier scored 33 or more points in a set for the first time since Aug. 29, 2015 vs Eastern Michigan (won the second set, 33-31).
• Xavier opens BIG EAST action with back-to-back home matches vs Villanova (Sept. 23) and Georgetown (Sept. 25).
