Musketeers will face off with NKU, Ball State and host Flyers in double-dual format

CINCINNATI - Xavier men's tennis will travel to the Graul Tennis Complex at the University of Dayton to take part in the James O'Connell Memorial Tournament, running from Friday, September 23 through Saturday, September 24.

The tournament will feature the Dayton Flyers, NKU Norse and Ball State Cardinals in a double-dual format, and is set for a 10 a.m. start on Friday, with an 8:30 a.m. start on Saturday. Xavier opens up action with doubles against NKU on Friday.

FALL SCHEDULE

Following the Tournament at Dayton, the Musketeers will next be in action at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional, running from Oct. 13 through Oct. 17 at the University of Louisville.
The Musketeers will return to Louisville to take part in a tournament at Bellarmine running October 28-29.

THE MUSKETEERS

Xavier returns nine letterwinners from last year's squad that advanced to the BIG EAST Semifinals for the first time since 2016 after earning the No. 3 seed, the program's highest seed in the BIG EAST Championship since joining the conference in 2013-14.
The 2021-22 Musketeers finished the season at 12-9 overall, the most wins since the 2015-16 season.
Among the returners are All-BIG EAST Second Team selection Ryan Cahill, as well as Marco Pennelli, Charlie Temming, Cambell Nakayama, Pascal Mosberger, Shashank Reddy, Nick Loudermilk, Aaron Thompson and Jake Zipoli.
Xavier also added a trio of freshmen, Jorge Santamaria, Deacon Thomas and Kyle Totorica.
