Dylan Kropp Named to TDS Freshman Best XI First Team

The freshman defender helped Xavier post a 9-2-7 record in 2022
CINCINNATI - Freshman defender Dylan Kropp was recently named to the TopDrawerSoccer Freshman Best XI First Team. Teammate Cole Jensen was also tabbed to the TDS Postseason Best XI First Team.
Kropp helped the Musketeers match the program's highest United Soccer Coaches Ranking this season (No. 9 on Oct. 18). He also helped the Musketeers match the program record for longest unbeaten streak to start a season (14 matches) and set the program record for fewest losses in a season (2).
Xavier also finished the year ranked tied for fourth in single-season school history in shutouts (8) and fourth in single-season school history in goals against average (0.89). The Musketeers led the BIG EAST in fewest goals allowed (16), goals against average (0.89) and shutouts (8).
The Columbus, Ohio, native earned All-BIG EAST Third Team honors and was named the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 10. He ranked second on the team in minutes played (1,612).
