Women's Tennis Takes 7-0 Sweep of Dayton

Xavier will wrap up the weekend on Sunday, January 29 at 4:30 p.m. at the Riverside Athletic Club in Hamilton, Ohio.

 THE MATCH |
Xavier took the doubles point, with a 6-1 win on the No. 3 court for Emily Flowers and Paulina Franco Martinessi, the pair's third doubles win of the season. Anna Roggenburk and Imani Graham clinched the point with a 6-3 on the No. 2 court, and Kat Lyman and Abby Nugent took the 6-3 win on the No. 1 court, moving them to 2-0 on the season.
In singles play, Abby Nugent made it a 2-0 lead for the Musketeers with a 6-3, 6-0 win on the No. 3 court and Emily Flowers pushed it to a 3-0 lead on the No. 6 court, 6-2, 6-1.
On the No. 1 court, Imani Graham took a 6-0, 6-4 win to put Xavier up 4-0 and clinch the win.
Kat Lyman took a 6-3, 7-5 win on No. 2, Abigail Siminski won No. 4 singles 6-4, 6-3 on No. 3 and Blessing Nwaozuzu complete the sweep with a 6-1,4-6, 6-1 win on the No. 5 court.
