Nathan Trickett Named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week

The midfielder scored the game-winning goal at Creighton on Sept. 29
NEW YORK - Nathan Trickett was named the BIG EAST Freshman of the Week on Monday afternoon. The midfielder is the second Musketeer to earn the honors this season.
The Independence, Ohio, native helped the Musketeers post a 1-0 BIG EAST road win at Creighton on Sept. 29. He scored the game-winning goal in the 23rd minute, the first goal of his Xavier career.
Trickett finished the contest with a match-high three shots (three shots on goal). He made his first career start against Creighton and logged a season-high 48 minutes.
The Musketeers return to action on Tuesday, Oct. 3 at Ohio State.
