CINCINNATI - Xavier women's golf continues its fall season at The Southern on Oct. 23-24. The two-day tournament is being hosted by Georgia Southern at the Savannah Golf Club.

LAST TIME OUT

• Xavier placed 10th in the team standings at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate on Oct. 8. The three-day tournament was held at the University of Denver Golf Club in Highlands Ranch, Colo.

• Xavier posted a 54-hole score of 876 (+12) in a field of 14 teams. Kara Carter paced the Musketeers, placing tied for 21st with a score of 215 (-1).

NOTABLES

• Xavier won its fourth straight BIG EAST Championship on April 19, 2023. The Musketeers are the first team in conference history to win four straight conference titles.

• Xavier placed tied for seventh at the NCAA Westfield Regional on May 10, 2023, the team's fourth straight NCAA appearance. The seventh-place finish was the highest team finish for the Musketeers at an NCAA Regional. Xavier's previous top finish was 10th at the 2022 NCAA Ann Arbor Regional.

• Xavier returns three golfers from its postseason roster in Kara Carter, Erin Kim and Madison Reemsnyder. Carter and Reemsnyder both earned All-BIG EAST honors at the conclusion of the season. Carter has seven career top-10 finishes, while Reemsnyder has three.

• Coach Jenco earned BIG EAST Coach of the Year honors for the fifth time in her career in May of 2023. She also picked up the honors in 2016, 2019, 2021 and 2022.

• Xavier finished fifth or better in nine of its 10 tournaments during the 2022-23 season. The Musketeers won three tournaments to go along with two runner-up finishes. The Musketeers have 13 top-two finishes dating back to the spring of 2021 (eighth tournament titles; five runner-up finishes).
