SAVANNAH, Ga. - Xavier women's golf placed tied for sixth at The Southern on Tuesday afternoon. The two-day tournament was hosted by Georgia Southern at the Savannah Golf Club.

Xavier posted a 54-hole score of 906 (+42) in a field of 11 teams. Georgia Southern won the tournament with a score of 889 (+25), five strokes ahead of Western Kentucky (894, +30). Coastal Carolina took third with a score of 902 (+38).

Georgia Southern's Louise Reau and Coastal Carolina's Hannah King took home medalist honors with scores of 219 (+3). Western Kentucky's Catie Craig placed third with a score of 220 (+4). The field consisted of 64 golfers.

Erin Kim and Madison Reemsnyder paced the Musketeers, placing tied for ninth with scores of 223 (+7).
