CINCINNATI - Xavier women's golf opens its spring season at the Rio Verde Collegiate Invitational on Feb. 23-25. The three-day tournament is being hosted by Western Michigan at the White Wing Golf Course at Rio Verde Country Club.

LAST TIME OUT

• Xavier placed tied for sixth at The Southern on Oct. 24 to wrap up the fall season. The two-day tournament was hosted by Georgia Southern at the Savannah Golf Club.

• Xavier posted a 54-hole score of 906 (+42) in a field of 11 teams. Erin Kim and Madison Reemsnyder paced the Musketeers, placing tied for ninth with scores of 223 (+7).

NOTABLES

• Xavier won its fourth straight BIG EAST Championship on April 19, 2023. The Musketeers are the first team in conference history to win four straight conference titles.

• Xavier placed tied for seventh at the NCAA Westfield Regional on May 10, 2023, the team's fourth straight NCAA appearance. The seventh-place finish was the highest team finish for the Musketeers at an NCAA Regional. Xavier's previous top finish was 10th at the 2022 NCAA Ann Arbor Regional.

• Xavier returns three golfers from its postseason roster in Kara Carter, Erin Kim and Madison Reemsnyder. Carter and Reemsnyder both earned All-BIG EAST honors at the conclusion of the season. Carter has seven career top-10 finishes, while Reemsnyder has three.

• Coach Jenco earned BIG EAST Coach of the Year honors for the fifth time in her career in May of 2023. She also picked up the honors in 2016, 2019, 2021 and 2022.

• Xavier finished fifth or better in nine of its 10 tournaments during the 2022-23 season. The Musketeers won three tournaments to go along with two runner-up finishes. The Musketeers have 13 top-two finishes dating back to the spring of 2021 (eighth tournament titles; five runner-up finishes).
