Quincy Olivari Earns Another BIG EAST Conference Honor

Olivari earns BIG EAST Honor Roll spot for the third-straight week.

CINCINNATI --- Xavier University graduate student Quincy Olivari earned a spot on the BIG EAST Conference Honor Roll for the third-straight week after averaging 21.0 ppg., 5.0 rpg. and 2.0 apg. for XU's games at St. John's on Dec. 20 and vs. Seton Hall on Dec. 23. He scored a game-high 29 points to go with seven rebounds in the 74-54 win over Seton Hall.

Olivari is second in the BIG EAST in scoring at 18.2 ppg., first in 3-point field goals per game at 2.92 and second in 3-point percentage at 43.7 percent (38-87).

Over the last five games Olivari has averaged 25.0 ppg., while shooting 54.3 percent from the field, including 47.5 percent from 3-point range, and 88.2 percent from the free-throw line.

Xavier, 7-6 overall and 1-1 in the BIG EAST, resumes play at Villanova on Wednesday, Jan. 3.
