Men's Tennis Falls to Indiana

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Xavier men's tennis fell, 4-0, to Indiana on Sunday afternoon, moving to 4-2 on the season.
Next up, the Musketeers host Bellarmine on Friday, Feb. 10, set for 6:00 p.m. start at Eastern Hills.
In doubles play, Indiana took the 6-1 win on the No. 3 doubles court over Marco Pennelli and Jorge Santamaria. Xavier took the second decision, with Cambell Nakayama and Pascal Mosberger winning No. 2, 6-0. IU secured the point with a 6-3 win over Ryan Cahill and Deacon Thomas on the No. 1 court.
IU went up 2-0 with a 6-1, 6-1 win on the No. 3 court against Pascal Mosberger and made it a 3-0 lead with a 7-6 (10), 6-3 win on the No. 1 court against Deacon Thomas.
The Hoosiers secured the match with a 7-6 (4), 6-0 win on the No. 4 court against Cambell Nakayama.
When the match was decided, Ryan Cahill forced a third set on No. 2 after taking the second in a 6-4, 4-6, 2-2 match.
Marco Pennelli led in third set after taking the second set on the No. 5 court, 5-7, 6-2, 3-0.
Kyle Totorica also led in the third set after taking set No. 2 on No. 6, 1-6, 6-3, 4-1.
