CINCINNATI - Xavier track and field travels to the Hoosier Hills meet hosted by Indiana on Feb. 10. The meet is being held at Gladstein Fieldhouse in Bloomington, Ind.

LAST TIME OUT

• Xavier most recently competed at the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational hosted by Louisville on Jan. 28-29. The Musketeers posted four, top-10 finishes at the meet.

• Claire Sievern paced the women's team with a fifth-place finish in the one-mile run (4:50.06). The time established a new school record in the event.

• Adrian Stuphan led the men with a second-place finish in the 5,000-meter run (14:49.83). Sean Beam posted a time of 49.30 in the 400-meter dash, tied for the fastest time in school history.

COACH BURROUGHS

• Sam Burroughs was named the new head coach for cross country/track and field on Jan. 4, 2021. He joined the Musketeers after previously working as associate head coach at Cincinnati from 2013-20.

• Burroughs has over 20 years of collegiate experience. He has coached 96 individual conference champions and 46 individual NCAA qualifiers, while leading 18 teams to conference championship titles.
