Pair helped Musketeers to 6-1 win over UConn
NEW YORK - After helping Xavier to a 6-1 win over UConn and a 2-0 mark against BIG EAST teams this season, Imani Graham and Anna Roggenburk were named the BIG EAST Doubles Team of the Week, the league office announced on Monday.
Graham and Roggenburk clinched the double's point in Xavier's  victory over UConn, defeated the Huskies' Aleksandra Karamyshev and Isabel Petri Bere in a 7-6 (3) tiebreaker on the No. 1 court, marking the duo's seventh doubles win of the dual season.
The pair also helped Xavier on the singles court, with Graham, a junior from St. Johns, Fla., taking the No. 1 court, and Roggenburk, a redshirt junior from Avon Lake, Ohio, winning on the No. 3 court.
Xavier wraps up the regular season next weekend, hosting Marquette on Friday, April 14 for Senior Day, before traveling to Indianapolis to face Butler on Sunday, April 16.
