CINCINNATI - Xavier men's golf concludes regular-season action at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate hosted by Ohio State on April 21-23. The three-day tournament is being held at the OSU Golf Club Scarlet Course in Columbus, Ohio.

LAST TIME OUT

• Xavier placed ninth at the Mountaineer Invitational on April 18. The two-day tournament was held at the Pete Dye Golf Club.

•The Musketeers posted a 54-hole score of 926 (+62) in a field of 13 teams. Oklahoma State won the team title with a score of 875 (+11).

• Oklahoma State's Jonas Baumgartner took home medalist honors with a 54-hole score of 216 (E), finishing two strokes ahead of teammate Bo Jin and James Madison's Daniel Cheng who recorded scores of 218 (+2). The field consisted of 80 golfers.

• Carson Bellish was Xavier's top performer for the fifth straight tournament with a score of 224 (+8), placing tied for 15th.

NOTABLES

• Xavier placed fourth at the Golfweek/Any Given Tuesday Intercollegiate on March 29. Xavier posted its highest finish of the 2022-23 season with a score of 866 (+2). The Musketeers now have four top-five finishes dating back to the 2021-22 season.

• Carson Bellish posted his third top-10 of the season at the Golfweek/Any Given Tuesday Intercollegiate, placing tied for third with a score of 210 (-6). The third-place finish is the highest of his career. The third-place finish is also the highest individual finish for a Xavier golfer since Oct. 22, 2019 (Imaad Qureshi placed tied for third at the Musketeer Classic).

• Xavier played in four tournaments in the fall of 2022 with its highest finish coming at the UConn Invitational on Oct. 3-4 (placed sixth out of 14 teams). The Musketeers finished the tournament with a score of 900 (+36).

• Xavier's highest individual finish during the fall 2022 season was also at the UConn Invitational. Mason Witt tied for eighth with a score of 222 (+6).

• Xavier posted three top-five finishes during the 2021-22 season. The Musketeers placed fourth at both the Valparaiso Invitational (Sept. 20-21) and the NKU The Jewell (April 10-11).

• The Musketeers return all five golfers who participated in the 2022 BIG EAST Championships. Michael Prebles paced the squad with a 21st place finish (219, +3).

• Brian Arlinghaus enters year two at the helm of the program after being hired on June 18, 2021. He joined the Musketeers after serving as the head men's golf coach at Wright State from 2017-21. He was an assistant coach with the Raiders for two seasons (2015-17) before being promoted to head coach.
