COLUMBUS, Ohio - Xavier men's golf placed tied for 15th at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate hosted by Ohio State on Sunday evening. The three-day tournament was held at the OSU Golf Club Scarlet Course.

The Musketeers posted a 54-hole score of 909 (+57) in a field of 17 teams. Ohio State won the tournament by 19 strokes, recording a score of 854 (+2). Kent State placed second with a score of 873 (+21).

Ben Sluzas took home medalist honors with a score of 211 (-2). Ohio State's Jackson Chandler and Kent State's Chris Vandette placed tied for second with scores of 213 (E). The field consisted of 99 golfers.

Justin Gabbard paced the Musketeers, placing tied for 21st with a score of 221 (+8). The 21st place finish is his second highest finish of the season (placed tied for 18th at the UConn Invitational on Oct. 4).
