Xavier hit 287 (-1) on Saturday afternoon at Riverton Pointe Golf Course

HARDEEVLIEE, S.C. - Xavier ranks eighth after two rounds of action at the 2023 BIG EAST Men's Golf Championship Presented by JEEP. The three-day tournament is being held at Riverton Pointe Golf Course.

Xavier hit 287 (-1) on day two of the tournament. The Musketeers rank eighth in the team standings with a 36-hole score of 585 (+9).

Only five strokes separate the Musketeers from fourth-place UConn (580, +4). Marquette ranks first with a score of 572 (-4), only one stroke ahead of Seton Hall (573, -3). St. John's ranks third with a score of 574 (-2).

Individually, freshman Carson Bellish ranks tied for 13th to pace the Musketeers. He has a 36-hole score of 144 (E).

Jack Simon from St. John's leads the field with a score of 137 (-7). Butler's Connor McNeely and St. John's Ryan Rittberger rank tied for second with scores of 140 (-4).

Round three action begins at 8 a.m. on Sunday, April 30.
