Women's Tennis Opens Fall Schedule at Flyer Invitational

CINCINNATI - Xavier women's tennis will open up the 2023-24 schedule at Dayton's Flyer Invitational, set to begin on Friday, September 22 and run through Saturday, September 23. Matches start at 9:00 a.m. each day at the Graul Tennis Complex in Dayton, Ohio.

THE MUSKETEERS

Xavier returns six from last year's squad that brought home the program's third-straight, and fourth overall, BIG EAST Championship and earned Xavier's fourth bid to the NCAA Championships.
The 2022-23 Musketeers finished the season 14-8 overall with a 6-0 record against BIG EAST opponents.
Among Xavier's returnees are 2023 BIG EAST Player of the Year, Imani Graham, and BIG EAST Freshman of the Year, Abby Nugent.
Anna Roggenburk, Blessing Nwaozuzu, Emily Flowers and Abigail Siminski also return for the Musketeers.
Xavier added a pair of newcomers, Ellie Brotherton and Sofia Mazzucato.

FALL SCHEDULE

Next up, the Musketeers will head to Bloomington, Ind., for the Hoosier Classic, set to take place from Sept. 29 through October 1.
Select Musketeers will also take part in the ITA Women's All-American Championship in Cary, N.C., schedule to run from Sept. 30 to Oct. 8.
Following the Hoosier Classic and ITA All-America, Xavier will head across town to take part in the UC/Pam Whitehead Invite on Oct. 6-7.
Action for the full team concludes at the ITA Fall Regional, held at Tennessee from Oct. 19 to Oct. 23.
The fall schedule wraps up with the ITA Fall Nationals, beginning on November 2 and running through Nov. 6 at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, California.
