Xavier Sweeps Providence to Complete Undefeated Weekend

The Musketeers hit a season-high .386 in the match.
CINCINNATI - The Xavier volleyball team dominated Providence 3-0 (25-14, 25-21, 25-18) on Sunday afternoon in Cintas Center to achieve a 2-0 weekend in BIG EAST play.
The Musketeers were hot from the start, hitting .500 in the first set behind Emma Grace's perfect 5-for-5 swings.
Xavier's offense combined for 16.67 kills per set throughout the match with four players hitting above .300.
The Musketeers move to 8-12 (6-4 BIG EAST) while the Friars fall to 7-14 (0-10 BIG EAST).

Xavier hosts Georgetown and Seton Hall next weekend at Cintas Center. The Hoyas come to town Friday for a 6:00 p.m. matchup and the Pirates follow up on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
