CINCINNATI - The Xavier volleyball team lost 3-0 (18-25, 15-25, 22-25) to Villanova on Sunday afternoon in the Cintas Center.

The Musketeers' loss comes after back-to-back BIG EAST sweeps and three straight home sweeps.

Villanova extends their win streak to eight and four straight in BIG EAST play.

The Musketeers bounced back in the third set with 17 kills to take a 22-18 lead, but the Wildcats ended the match on a 7-0 run.

Xavier falls to 4-10 (2-2 BIG EAST) while Villanova improves to 11-4 (4-0 BIG EAST).

Anna Taylor led the way with a match-high 13 kills on a .391 clip.
Emma Grace followed with seven kills, eight digs and an ace.
Lucia Corsaro held down the Musketeers' backline with 14 digs.
