Musketeers Visit Seton Hall and Georgetown to Start Four-Game Road Stretch

Xavier looks to climb the BIG EAST ranks after a 2-2 start.
CINCINNATI - The Xavier volleyball team begins a four-game road stint on the East Coast this weekend. The Musketeers are coming off of a 1-1 weekend at home with a sweep of St. John's and a loss to Villanova in straight sets.
ÂXavier will face Seton Hall and Georgetown this weekend, both of which went 1-1 on the road last week.

- Last Friday, the Musketeers swept St. John's who was picked to finish third in the BIG EAST after a conference title match appearance last season.
- Logan Flaugh ranks second in the BIG EAST and 28th in the nation with 10.31 assists per set and an average of 10.92 in conference matches. Her 49 assists in the sweep of Kent State is the most by any league player in a 3-set match this year.
- Margo Kemp's team-leading .370 hitting percentage is the fourth-best in the conference. She hit a career-high 13 kills against Kent State with only one error on a .667 clip, the highest single-game hitting percentage by a BIG EAST player this season. Kemp earned BIG EAST Freshman of the Week honors on Sept. 30, the first Musketeer to do so since Delaney Hogan on Mar. 23, 2021.
- Emma Grace tallied a season-high 18 kills in the sweep of St. John's while hitting .417. She added 12 digs to record her 17th career double-double and earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll (Oct. 7). She ranks sixth among BIG EAST players in conference matches with 3.62 k/s and leads the league with 0.62 aces per set.
- Sarah Stevens earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll (Sept. 30) after notching eight kills and four blocks in consecutive matches, hitting .538 at DePaul and .700 in the sweep of Butler.

- Seton Hall was picked to finish seventh in the BIG EAST standings after just missing last year's conference tournament in the same position.
- The Pirates enter the weekend with a 7-8 record and are 1-3 in BIG EAST play with their lone win coming from a five-set battle against Providence.

- Rylee Nelson leads the league with an average of 4.62 digs per set that ranks 39th nationally.
